Regions of Singapore. There are 5 regions in Singapore. These zones are further divided into 55 planning zones. Singapore’s territories are not to be used for administrative purposes. Regions used for administrative purposes are called districts.

Central Area is the center of the Central Region. It has a population of 930,900. The surface area is 132.7 square kilometers.
The center of the East Region is Tampines. Furthermore, it has a population of 690,510. The surface area is 93.1 square kilometers.
Woodlands is the center of the North Region. Also, it has a population of 543,630. The surface area is 134.5 square kilometers.
The center of the North-East Region is Seletar. Moreover, it has a population of 889,300. The surface area is 103.9 square kilometers.
The center of West Region is Jurong East. It has a population of 911,760. Furthermore, its surface area is 201.3 square kilometers.
